The Crazy Mountains: Part 8

Our good friend Becky left Montana on Wednesday, September 2 and after taking the rest of that day off, Doug and I set out on the final segment of our Fall Foliage Tour of 2019. This time, as we headed west, however, it was with the intention of turning south and viewing the back (western side) of the Teton Mountain Range from Idaho before proceeding southeastward to see the very rugged and remote Wind River Range some one hundred miles southeast of Yellowstone National Park. On the way, of course, are the Crazy Mountains, and I just naturally had to stop for a photo op.

These photos were from a little further out, mile marker 387.
Mile marker 375 is nearing my favorite spot (mile 377).
When you come around that curve, you are heading directly toward the Crazy Mountains.
Crazy Peak. Don’t you think it is magnificent?
